Diaries of the Fisherman

In this photograph Rafo, President of the Fisherman's Union in Tripoli, explains the conditions that force fishermen and women to abandon their boats on land and leave them to be ravaged by the elements.
Here we see the decomposed skeleton of what was once a small fishing boat of Flouca.
Meet M. Hajjar, a spear fisher whose former job was to fix underwater pipelines  at the Tripoli Oil Refinery. He suffered Decompression Sickness, more commonly known as DCS and spent the subsequent three months after the accident trying to regain his ability to walk.
We ended the day with a trip to one of the largest fish markets in Tripoli.
Okaibe port, North Lebanon.
